A Mews House
A Mews House is the 3rd smallest lot in the City of Atlanta with a detached single-family residence built on it. The lot is a mere 20 feet (6 meters) wide providing for a 14-feet-wide (4.3 meters) house even after special relief from vexing suburban zoning regulations (in an urban setting) were granted.
The project seeks to tell the story that design matters making even the most undesirable and restrictive lot into one that is humane, beautiful and desired.
Testing the premise that design drives economies, a Mews House is built as a spec house by the Architect. “Put your money where your mouth is.”
